Poor quality handle and plastic.

I bought this June 2024 to use first time for cruise to Alaska for sea/land tour. The handle was absolutely horrible. It would not come up unless I would open the suitcase and hit the inside to release whatever was inside making it stick. I did not have the suitcase full at all, I didn't even use the extender zipper the entire trip. The outside is so scuffed up it looks like it has been used for at least 5 years on multiple trips. I am a loyal Samsonite customer and do not recommend this suitcase at all. I was even afraid the wheels might break off, thankfully they are still in tact.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loved the suitcase, but I made the mistake of not checking airline size requirements for checked in bags. This is oversized and would cost extra to check. I think this should be in the description so no one else has to pay for the return.

Pros: Large suitcase with lots of storage space. Rolls easily.
Cons: After one round trip the suitcase looks like it's been through a war with scuff marks everywhere. Additionally, the rubber on one of the wheels looks like it is ready to come off.
Disappointed with purchase wish it was made with a tougher exterior material.

Although i have not yet used this case, it looks extremely well made and resilient. The inside is spacious with dual packing capabilities. It is very light 9.5 lbs as opposed to my old one at 15 builds. The only small negative is i dis not find enclosed the directions for locking the case, i did locate this on the Samsung website. I very much look forward to using this shortly.

So far, I love this suitcase. Seems to be very sturdy, and I can pack quite a lot in it. I’m looking forward to several years of travel with it. I have learned the hard way that it doesn’t pay to go cheap on luggage.

Low Quality product - refrain buying it.

I have been using Samsonite since my childhood days and regret to inform you that quality on Samsonite products have gone so bad that it just doesn’t make sense to pay higher price and get low grade product. We bought large & medium Freeform spinner set that on our first trip got scratched all over like a 5 year old product. These are not small but big scratches all around these bags. To be reasonable I would accept some scratches over time and many uses to justify it, however just using it once and dealing with ugly looking product after paying good money is not acceptable. Yes, checked in luggage doesn’t get handled well compared to carryons but that is the reason we buy Samsonite luggage. If they are prone to scratches so easily then I think this should be mentioned on the product information booklet, so one can avoid buying those. I think there might be better products from other companies that we will consider over Samsonite. Thank you Samsonite for losing our trust in your brand. Really disappointed. PS: still under 1 year warranty
