Love this set. It was fairly easy to assemble, and I love him in his jumpsuit. He doesn't stand by himself very well unless you position the legs a certain way, though. Happy to add this to my groot collection!

An absolute must-have for any Marvel fan and Groot

It took me a matter of 3 hours to do and that was only cause I had to help my kids and take one to work. Quality is right up there where lego should be. Has stickers not reprinted on blocks. Easy to follow instructions.

Fun build, even for a beginner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t done anything with legos for years, nor have I ever built a complex kit. I was excited to put this one together for review. A couple of times I had to disassemble/reassemble, but for the most part did pretty well. There are 7 bags of materials, with some additional bags inside the numbered bags for smaller parts. The book that comes with this kit is pretty easy to follow. My biggest frustration was that the head very easily can shift apart during building if you hold or flip it over wrong and jostle any parts. The worst was the little part that attach Groot’s eyes. They were constantly popping off while I was building the head. Despite this, the build went pretty well. Groot stand on his own on my living room carpet. Overall I would recommend this; I worked on it on and off over 5 hours (did not take the entire time, but took some breaks to do other things). Was a nice project to get me thinking a bit and off of screens. Would have also been a good challenge for my kids, but they were doing other things so I gave it a whirl.
