I bought this as my daughter is obsessed with toothless and this product did not disappoint. She loved that you could interchange the mouth pieces. This will go on a shelf with the rest of her toothless items! Next, we'd like to see lightfury!

I do a lot of very complex Lego builds, but I am also a great fan of HTTYD, so I thought this would be a great break from my normal builds. I was right - this build was just challenging enough to keep my attention but also simple enough to complete in a couple sittings. The instructions were superbly clear and the result was far more than I expected - my whole family loves my Toothless!

I love the way the designers were able to capture Toothless’ personality. I absolutely love this build and the way it looks specially on my desk. But I cannot stress enough how sad it is that we didn’t get a Hiccup minifigure! The movies are about their bond!

If you are a fan of How to train your dragon series, this set is made for you. Head can be rotated and his mouth also moved from wide open to closed. And also charming and cute! Highly recommended!!

So as you can probably tell by the title, I absolutely love this set. I am an avid fan of the How to Train Your Dragon franchise and Lego sets so this was a must have for me. It is an absolutely adorable set, there are no stickers and the printed pieces look great, and it captures the energy of toothless amazingly. I personally only have a couple of drawbacks that don’t actually affect how much I love the hat. They just would’ve been nice additions. I do kind of wish that it was less of a chibi version of toothless and more of an animated movie accurate toothless but I still absolutely love it and think it’s adorable. Another drawback is during the building process. Some of the parts can come off, kind of easily mainly the eye and mouth areas because the pieces don’t get fully locked down until the mouth is attached to the rest of the head, and the pupils themselves are still easy to pop off because they are not the strongest connection being only two studs on one side holding on the entire brick but for the most part, it is a very sturdy build, especially after it has been fully built. The last thing that I wish was different is the articulation. His tongue, head, ears, wings, and back legs all move at least a little but I would’ve loved to see some articulation in the tail and more articulation in the feet just for that added possibility. I hope that there’s a chance of getting more mini figure scale dragons in the future maybe bundle of the main five that has the same articulation styling of the dragons in the Lego elves and Ninjago series because those are very possible. Overall, I think this is a great set with great value and will make an amazing addition to my shelf, decorations, and overall Lego collection amazing job Lego. I hope to see more from this franchise.
