Great Travel Backpack

This travel backpack’s build quality is on par with the Made in the USA 1960 Samsonite Silhouette briefcase I have. Yes, the straps are a little thin, but this is not a rucksack nor a hiking backpack. Compared to other backpacks I’ve used for travel and work as a teacher, the straps are fine and will support the load. There are multiple zippered pockets and the padding for a tablet/laptop is thick enough to protect it. It came wrapped in a cloth bag that is sturdy enough to use as a travel laundry bag

straps are terrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although was excited to use this bag for all of its features, space and its good looks, the straps are absolutely awful! The straps to the backpack are extremely hard and although they look to be padded, it’s virtually some crunchy stiff foam sewn in. Because of the stiffness, which also makes a cheap foam sound when you squeeze it, they cut into the backpack of your neck (an I’m a petite person). I’m really surprised, that with all the thoughtful parts of this bag, that someone could approve the low quality and poor design of what you need to make a backpack functional.

I always over pack and was nervous to use this for a recent work conference…but let me tell you it fit more than I needed it to and still had room to move things around! So easy to quickly pack up and take on the go, not bulky or heavy at all. The straps were extremely comfortable, too, and I swear I kept finding new pockets! Very excited to use this on my upcoming trip to Italy.
