[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to replace a similarly sized samsonite which has served me well and based on the consumer reports review of the carryon version I purchased this and have already taken it for a round trip NJ to CA and it's light weight and very spacious.

The medium suitcase easily held enough cloths for 5 days with room to spare. Although it weights almost 9 lbs. we easily came under 35 lbs will loaded with 5 days of cloths, 1 coat and 1 pair of shoes. It does scratch moving through airline handling. It can dent but that will pop out most of the timee by itself. Because of the color choices it was easy to ID at the baggage claim area.
