Looks nice but is NOT durable

I liked the color (burgundy) and features of this suitcase, but I checked this bag for the first time on a recent flight. When I got if off the baggage claim it had a hole all the way through the PLASTIC exterior. For the price paid, I would expect that I would be able to travel with this suitcase for years - not that it would be damaged after the first flight. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good, but gets scratched easily

The luggage is of high quality and well made, however, it gets scratched easily and you need to use a cover (which I have not found for this model), otherwise it will lose its good shape fairly quickly. I was planning to buy a small and medium size, but will be looking for some other model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bent telescopic handle on 1st trip

We bought these medium suitcases for our trip to Alaska but when we got back home, the telescopic handle would not come up. The outside of the suitcase looked ok but I guess they must have hit and bent the telescopic part so handle was stuck inside. Once we got home and unpacked everything, I took it apart and sure enough, there is a slight dent in the slim aluminum and that is where it is jammed. Those telescopic handles are so cheaply built that any little pressure is going to bend them. Will not recommend buying this set again to anyone. I can't even find replacement parts for it so its useless now....

For now, I'm giving it 5 stars. I haven't been able to use it yet to see how it holds up, but so the reviews across multiple sites have pretty much been the same as far as durability. It's lightweight which is a plus. I got the 28" which was bigger than expected, but I have a feeling the space won't go to waste.
Only thing I wish they would do. Include instructions on how to open the lock the first time. This is my first piece of nice luggage. I had to YouTube how to open it. I was completely unaware that you can just slide the logo over near the lock to open it. A tag would have been helpful. That's the only bad thing I can say about it right now.

Interior fabric feels very rough and cheap, not the same quality from my prior Samsonite luggages which were significantly better. The zipper for the main compartment on the inside opens into the middle of the luggage meaning you can’t prop up one side of the luggage without everything falling out. Pretty basic inside, nothing special with pockets/storage. Suitcase came scratched as well out of the box. Overall disappointed in quality.

Lightweight. Only taken on one trip so far…airlines are rough on luggage but it faired well. I love the color (Shiraz), not so girly that my husband wont use it too.
