Light, tough, capacious, and organized.

In May of 2024, I bought a Framelock Max carry-on in teal. Since then I've used it on trips over six times and couldn't be happier. I was a little worried about it not having compression straps, but that concern was mooted by the two zipper dividers. I love that it's zipperless for security's sake, easy to open with one latch, easy to close--you can pre-lock the latch, then simply shut the suitcase and it's shut-and-locked. It's light. And it's sturdy enough to sit on, although that's not an official use. Plenty of inside pockets. Finally, I like the light-colored liner; it's easier to find small stuff given the contrast. This is my favorite carry-on I've ever owned.
Negatives: there are no negatives as to this suitcase, but more product feedback suggestions to Samsonite. First, when I bought this suitcase, it was my intention to by two full sets, meaning a carry-on and a medium for each of my wife and me. Four suitcases, total. Problem is Samsonite doesn't make a medium Framelock Max, only a large. But it's barn-size; we have neither the need nor the space for it. Wife and I only need carry-ons and mediums. Since we shopped, our daughter also has made major suitcase purchases. She'd have bought a Framelock Max set had there been a matching medium. That's three full luggage sets that didn't get sold... only my one carry-on. Please make these in medium. Second, Samsonite in America could do better with security on their zippered products. Both Delsey and Traveler's Choice have product lines featuring double-coil zippers that protect against breach by thieves using any sharp object (even like a ball-point pen). Since Samsonite didn't feature such a product, I went to zipperless, only to find no medium. Third, there are medium zipperless Samsonites, but they're sold mainly in Europe. "S'cure" I think, and other, similar kind. I love my Samsonite; I just wish we could find more that meet our needs.

The color, material and motility of the bag are about the only thing I like about this bag. I’m a minimalistic packer and pride myself on efficiency, but even I struggled to make this bag work. The handle is clunky and takes up silly amounts of valuable luggage space. And, the compartments, while an attempt to help organize, are just another space grabber. If I hadn’t bought the bag (and needed it) for a special occasion, I would’ve returned it. Will be searching for a better designed bag.

The 3 bears, one is too small, one is too BIG,

I purchased both the carry on size and the check bag size case. I had a trip and needed new luggage. I had no choice but to use the MONSTER size bag because check bag was too small...basically useless for a long weekend.
The Monster bag worked as promised but was oversized and difficult to get thru the airport even the short trap to Priority bag check.
How is it Samsonite neglects to make a medium sized case with the new tech. I'll take some responsibility for not checking small, medium, HUMUNGOUS! But the ads don't show that is was taken next to a NBA player.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek, well made and easy to maneuver with four spinning wheels, great for wet environments. We travel a lot and needed a new carry-on. This one checks off a lot of boxes. Hard case, zipper-less, lightweight, great handle, and strong wheels.

Great Suitcase
