[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is an absolute dream come true for any Lego Ninjago enthusiast! It features all the original characters from season one, complete with their iconic outfits, making it a fantastic display piece. The price is incredibly affordable, making it accessible for both those revisiting their childhood nostalgia and dedicated fans of the series. Every angle of this set offers something to admire, and the packaging beautifully commemorates the characters’ anniversary. I believe this is a concept that all Lego themes should consider adopting. The bricks and plastic are impressively durable, perfect for both play and display. The instructions were straightforward, and I was able to complete the build in about 30 minutes. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend getting this set, especially if you grew up with the show like I did. It feels like I’ve grown alongside it, and the anniversary characters evoke a wave of nostalgia. I am absolutely thrilled to have this set and have no regrets whatsoever. Same durable lego bricks and materials we all know and love. Time tested and loved by generations.
This set's main appeal in for the Minifigures, but the build itself is good as well. It is very detailed, and utilizes interesting tecniques (The lantern/ Walls) The Minifigures are excellent, as I said previously. I like the half-robot Zane head and Samurai X. The new chain element used on Jay's weakon is a nice, better-looking alternative to the older chain peice. The display area is a bit small for all the Minifigures to be positioned without them running into each other. Besides that, this is overall a great set.
This set is an incredible throwback to childhood memories. Just about everything on the set is perfect, except for the gold armor on Lloyd, Cole and Jay(Would love to have it their respective silver and gunmetal). Overall, if you can manage to actually get a set, really quick and fun build that will look great on display. Price to figure count is amazing!
An amazing legacy set that not only had an impressive display build, but also amazing minifigures with the all new legacy remakes of the classic ZX Ninja suits, alongside a classic 2011 Master Wu and a new design for Samurai X. And all of this for only 45 dollars. Quite a good value for your money.
