After buying the bulldozer, mobile crane and excavator earlier this year, my son and I were waiting for this cement mixer - and it did not disappoint! Great addition to the construction line!! The little details make the mixer so realistic and good for functional imaginary play. We love it! Maybe a front loader or dump truck next? 😎

This is a really fun set, has a pretty great value, and is another great addition to the amazing new construction sets. I own all of them, except the side build of the tow truck, working on that, but this is a great set on its own as well.

Over a Decade of Improvement

Growing older, I have seen quite a few waves of Lego. Even the start of some long-standing themes like the "Great Vehicles Collection". Part of that collection was a cement mixer. While it was a cool concept at a good value, it was very fragile. That and it had lots of stickers. It was good for 2013. But now it's 2026 and the new cement mixer brings a good value, sturdy construction and no stickers! Nothing but high quality printed pieces. This one feels like it's a real modern vehicle. Included is a photo of the old one that came with just one minifig as well as this one that has 3. Same great functionality while looking and feeling so much better. Younger kids will enjoy not having to center stickers.
