Build was more challenging than I expected but not frustrating. In terms of accuracy it’s excellent and is undoubtedly the 1966 Ford GT-40. The opening hood with 427 engine is a fun feature and overall this is one of the more sturdy Technic car sets.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In love with this Lego set it is easy to assemble and the instructions are easy to follow. It comes well organized allowing you to go a step at a time. And a big size for the finish display. In love with!

Nice build, but it doesn’t feel 18+

This was my first Technic set. I’ve never really been a fan of these 1:18 Technic cars, but I got this one because it looked like one of the better looking ones and because the Ford GT is low key probably one of my favorite cars of all time.
It was a pretty fun build, and I’m pretty pleased with the final product. But I expected more from a set specifically marketed towards 18+ adult builders carrying a significantly higher MSRP compared to other Technic cars similar in scale and detail. I would really only recommend this if you’re a very big fan of the car itself.
