So much heat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We (my wife especially) love this whole room space heater from Vornado. This small but mighty machine is so quiet but pumps out so much heat in our 12x12 patio room. It takes no more than a few minutes to notice a difference and lasts for hours in well insulated spaces. I highly recommend this for the freeze baby in your life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vornado Velocity 5R Whole Room Space Heater packs a hot punch in a small enclosure. The piano white finish is tasteful, the capacitative buttons give it a modern look. I appreciate the safety feature of turning off if it gets knocked over. The heater works really well, surprisingly for how minuscule the heater is. The remote is also responsive and delivers a high-end touch to this room space heater.

I returned it. Didn’t have the output of heat I expected from a Vornado product. Vornado is great to work with on returns and I would still buy their “Made in the USA” products!

Beautiful, convenient but loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design if this heater is definitely superior than most space heaters in the market. I also absolutely love the convenience of having a remote control so I don't have to get up ever to turn it on or off. There are a few pros though. It is very loud! It doesn't bother me when it's on, but it s' only when I turn it off that I realized I actually feel relief and peace.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this Velocity 5R Whole Room Space Heater to warm up our living room in the winter during the day when we didn’t want to waist energy heating the whole house. This small unit warmed the living room quickly and was very quiet. I especially liked having a remote control that allows me to increase or decrease the heat in the room without having to leave the couch.

Here in Southern California natural gas prices have tripled. Having solar it made sense to use electric heater. After research I decided on the Vornado 5R. It has a small footprint. Does the job heating the room and it’s very portable with a well designed handle. So 5 stars.
