So much better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TAVH10 Vortex Heater rapidly heated our entire living room. It is very quiet particularly compared to one that we already own. The safety features made me feel safe to even let it run while not in the room. We have children and pets in our home and was very glad to see that the power will shut off when it is tilted to a certain point. I tried it and it shut off as the safety claims had promised. Reassuring to know in case it were to be bumped over. Also there is a cool down mode while turning off and it even flashes a timer so that you are well aware it is safe to touch and cool. Also any extra cord that is not being used actually rolls away under the heater and eliminates chances of being a tripping hazard. It very quickly heated the room to the set temperature and kept it there with no lapse or cool drops. It is nice and steady temperature. There is also a remote that is included that I really couldn't see myself using but surprised myself when I did. It was great to just turn it off with the remote and not have to get up to do it. This would be really handy if you were using it in a bedroom. We plan to use it this winter as a replacement for a heater that we have in our three season room so that we can fully enjoy it. I received this heater as a sample to review and so happy I did. It's a great heater that is safe to use for all homes.

High quality, effective whole room heater!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's start with the basics: The Vornado TAVH10is a compact, adjustable, air circulating whole room heater with remote control and touch sensitive LED display control panel located on the top. The operating instructions are easy to understand. The My highly positive opinion of the Vornado TAVH10 started to form as I removed the heater from its box. Printed on the inner box flap is the message: "we expect this product to be PERFECT - if it's not WE will make it right." I appreciate companies which stand behind their products and value quality and customer satisfaction. The heater has a 5 year SATISFACTION Guarantee! I placed the heater in the living room (800 sq. ft.) and set the temperature to 76 degrees, which it achieved within 15 minutes and maintained without a hitch. I did not need to increase the television volume to compete with operating noises. I really like the fact that the heater circulates the air; yet, there was no noticeable 'air drafts' which could blow/move dust and papers around. The outside of the heater remained cool to the touch during operation, so I had no concern about my dogs burning themselves if they came into accidental contact with it. The heater sits very stable on the floor with zero tipping over tendency, even when bumped. The safety mechanism (located on the heater's underside) is a pressure-activated switch which is depressed when the heater is set down on the floor. Lifting the heater immediately activates the auto-off safety feature. The Vornado is by far superior to any ceramic, element or oil heater I have owned. My only criticism is that the control panel is very sensitive and there is no panel lock. I highly recommend the Vornado and would not hesitate to buy a second one!

TAVH10 Heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked that it's digital and it has a remote control you can adjust to temperatures you desire. It is small and portable and it has a handle you can carry. It's a lttile hard to use because you have to learn how to work with the settings, controls, etc. But it does a fanastic job heating the whole room. I liked it and am pleased with the product. I've had other heaters in the past. This is the safest one I've had compared to other heaters. I've had. And lighter than the other heaters' I've had or seen. I highly recommend this heater.

Cons: Low Heat Output

Vortex heater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it out on my Florida room which is at the back of the house and I heated. I do crafts, sewing and reading there and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the heater was able to make the room comfortable enough and how quiet it was when on. The remote was also an added bonus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the Vornado I was so excited to start using- unfortunately we have been having 70 degree weather the first week of November! One morning it was a little chilly and I thought it was the perfect time to try this out. I'm not disappointed at all! This warmed our living room up perfectly and quickly! Love Love Love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater was great. We have a split level house that has three levels. In the winter, the cold air comes up to the living room/kitchen area from the family room on the first level. We usually hang a blanket in the stairwell to block the cold air. We just tried the heater out in the living room the last few days and it heats the room wonderfully, so now we don't have to hang an ugly blanket in the stairwell!
