Helpful during winter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been meaning to get a humidifier for a while now, so this Vornado humidifier came at just the right time! It’s sleek and still pretty small for how powerful it is. It’s very quiet and the mist is perfect! I still need to get some essential oils to test that feature out, but this humidifier has been very helpful during these winter months, and will continue to be!

We got this model of Vornado humidifier to replace one that stopped working (a Vornado that has since been discontinued). We read reviews, and were cautiously optimistic that this one would work well. We set it up in our bedroom and have been using it for over a month now with good results. The reserve tank holds a lot of water (making it heavy when completely full, but manageable with the handle). The tank size enables us to only have to refill it every few days, rather than every night - even when we run it for 8-10 hrs. a day. Instructions are easy to follow (intuitive). I would recommend this product.

Absolutely amazing humidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this humidifier! I live in a dry state where the humidity is very low (~20%) and my nasal passages suffer from dryness! Especially in the winter when the electric heater is on and it results in even drier air. Our house is normally super dry, but not after using this Vornado humidifier! The interface is easy to use and setup is very simple with no tools or screws required! Just add water into the reservoir and watch your home transform into a comfortable environment! There are multiple options to increase or decrease the output and an indicator to tell you the current humidity. It’s set up in our living room, it looks sleek, it’s quiet, and it reaches the entire house! My plants love it too since they get some extra needed moisture. I would highly recommend this humidifier if you’re looking for a sleek and efficient humidifier in your home.

Best Humidifier for Homes!

This is the Mistic 8 Top-Fill Ultrasonic Humidifier and I cannot say enough good things about this product. It has been an absolute BEAST during these winter days. Also, it has been a complete life saver during this flu season as well. Because of the house heater being on it has made my nostrils completely dry. This humidifier has added so much moisture to my life. It has helped with my dry nose, dry skin, basically everything! It is well built and well designed. It is very durable and maintaining it is super easy as well. The water chamber is easy to clean and place back. This product is easy to fill with water and replenishing the water is not an issue either. It has oil pads that you can add drops of essential oils too which allow the mist to add a beautiful scent to the air or even applying some Vicks to the pad allows for easy breathing while sick. This product is absolutely amazing and I will recommend to all my family and friends! This product is next level!

Good enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I swore I was going to hate this product because it was a little bit before I used it and transporting this around is extremely annoying. The water container sits in the machine ever so slightly so it basically falls apart any time you move it because it does not sit in there securely. I even dropped it once before I used it, hoping and praying it didn’t crack. That being said, the removable water container is well designed in itself. It has a top that slides off with an attached handle, so you can move around with it without worrying about the water sloshing around. The handle comes in handy because that water gets heavy! It houses a touch screen with pretty self explanatory options. I didn’t look at the manual that I assume it came with, as I usually don’t, and I was able to figure out what each option did pretty easily. My favorite option is the timer, because I can set it when I’m going to bed to run for about 10 hours and it turns off after that. The mist is very visible, but there was barely a dent made in the water carrier, so the water takes a while to be used and you don’t have to refill it crazy often. It’s hard to tell if my airways feel less dry, but I don’t have a nosebleed yet which I’ve been getting the last few days. My husband uses a fan in our room which seems like it cancels out some of its effects. Though it’s not very wide, this is a pretty bulky piece of machinery. I didn’t use it because I had no idea where to put this in our room on a raised surface. You can’t put it near electronics and it’s too big to put on a nightstand. I pretty much just set it on a collapsible step stool, hoping it wouldn’t get bumped. Overall I like this product but there are improvements to be made.

Great option for large rooms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really happy with the Vornado Mistic 8 humidifier overall. I love that it’s truly top-fill — I can just pour water right in without taking anything apart, which makes refilling quick and mess-free when I have water jugs handy. It puts out a great amount of mist and does a nice job keeping the whole room comfortable, and I like having the option to add essential oils with the scent pads.
My only small frustration is that when I set the tank back on (if I don’t have jugs handy and need to go fill it up in the kitchen), the power cord sometimes gets caught underneath it. That might just be how mine is plugged in, but it’s something I have to watch for when refilling.
Other than that minor quirk, it’s been a great humidifier and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone wanting an easy, effective option for larger rooms.

High quality whole room humidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Vornado Whole Room Humidifier has become a lifesaver this winter, between the dryness in the house and the many upper respiratory sicknesses that my family has had. The humidifier came packaged very securely, no damage in shipping. The product itself is very sturdy and sits nicely on the floor or low table. The instructions for set up were simple and easy to understand. I filled the tank with distilled water so no contamintes from the water are dispersed into the air. After filling with water simply install water tank, select your settings and you are ready to go! The water tank has a handle for easy transportation. Speaking of the settings, this humidifier has them all. It has an auto humidity control (it will shut off as soon as it reaches the set humidity wanted) and there is also a humidity indicator light (orange for low humidity, blue for optimal ans purple for over saturated) which makes it easy to read even from across the room. There are also 3 mist settings, warm/cool mist options (the warm mist actually heats up!), timer, night mode (gets rid of any light from the control panel) and an 8 liter tank with up to 90 hours of runtime. My favorite feature has to be the spot where I can add essential oils to add fragrance to the mist without the oil ruining the water tank, this has been so helpful during a virus to add eucalyptus oil to help us breathe easier. Overall, like I said, I am thoroughly impressed with this high quality humidifier and will be looking in to purchasing other Vornado products in the future.
