Got this set today and release day and had had it on my cart moment it had been announced. Build has been relatively satisfying so far and would def recommend to any football lover out there.

In my opinion this is the most creative set Lego has created. They turned an abstract piece of sculpture into an accessible but challenging build.
The selection of pieces and color shades is amazing. I love the final product and it makes an excellent addition to my Lego and trophy collection.

Repetitive & Annoying

You build almost the same exact section over and over and over... and i get sometimes that's the way it goes with cool looking Lego sets, but this doesn't even look cool, and not only is it repetitive... it's annoying. You would never know this is a FIFA WC Trophy unless you are a follower of the sport... you probably wouldn't even know it's meant to be a trophy at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
