This set was a birthday gift for my husband, he did really enjoyed this set. The final product is not that tall. He had fun

My perfect boy

Out of all the current Pokémon sets this one is the crown jewel. The poseability is more than I was expecting based on how polished and hidden the joints are and this smoothness makes it very nice to hold. The head droops a little in certain poses, but it is overall a stable and enjoyable set for play and display. It's just a fuzzy little guy and I love looking at his wittle face.
One note however is the build is very much the same throughout, as is the case with most animal builds. If you dislike repetitive creature builds this will be no different from similar quadrupeds. The head poses some challenge but don't let the age scare you from gifting this to an eager Pokémon fan; a teenager above 13 could realistically build this just fine.
