Super Cool Build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband loved building the LOTR set.
He was so excited for the minifigure. We both agree this makes a great display set since it has a place to rest the minifig.
It's a little small but it's not overwhelming. It is lightweight since it's a smaller display piece.
The bags were properly labeled which made building easier. It took my husband about an hour to build.
The coolest part of the set is the rubber piece to his helmet. I wasn't expecting the new texture.

Lego Winner for Middle Earth Fans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently introduced my son to JRR Tolkien, so this is perfect! One of his favorite Lego styles to build are the helmets, and what’s better than Sauron? Even though this is an awesome adult collectible, my 9-year-old had no trouble building it without help. It’s lightweight, so we might glue it to make sure it stays perfect. The minifigure with The One Ring is our favorite part—super cool detail.

Set was beautifully designed. Figure is on point. Just would have liked silvery gray for the accents to really make the design pop. But other than that it is a premium set. Hoping to see more for this series. The witch king, Gimli and Eomer would be amazing!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Could not have been more thrilled to receive the Lord of the Rings Sauron set. This is my ultimate favorite movie, book, trilogy, everything. The helmet is awesome, would love to see a Witch King version. The mini fig of Sauron is also a wonderful addition to the helmet bust. Cannot wait to put on display.

This was a fun build… pricey, but the end result does look great. Really wish Sauron’s mace had been included…
I do want to prioritize calling out the need more AFFORDABLE LOTR Lego - bring back the battle packs PLEASE; there is definitely a market for it.

“Forged in Darkness”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sauron helmet set is an outstanding display piece, clever use of angles and elements to really capture the Dark Lord’s menacing image. Shaping feels precise, giving it a sharp, intimidating look straight out of the source material.
The only modification I made was shortening the two spikes on the helmet. While I’m sure their original length was accurate, trimming them slightly gives the helmet a cleaner and more balanced aesthetic in my opinion.
The included Sauron minifigure is phenomenal and pairs beautifully with the build, definitely a highlight of the set. Overall I have no complaints at all. Easy 5/5.

Good straight forward build. If your used to doing other helmet builds, this falls in line with those others. The Sauron minifigure is nice with the mini ring of power.
