Fun and engaging Lego set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lego has always been our family favorite! It appeals and entertains kids and adults alike. My kids were super excited to build the ‘Kevin & Doug’ set. It is engaging, colorful and requires concentration and skill. It contains 628 pieces which requires time and patience but both my kids had a fun time building the set. The instructions are easy to follow . The materials are high quality, durable and the packaging is quite attractive. This set is a definitely a winner!

I had a great time building this set. I was able to complete it in an evening. It was actually larger than I expected it to be. It has good interaction after the build as well, with the movement of Dug's legs and Kevin's beak and wings. Love it.

A Little Disappointed

I was very excited about this set because I absolutely love Up. While the set is cute, I thought the direction booklet was terrible. This wasn’t a tough build, but the diagrams did not highlight the area that you were building as is done in other booklets. It was very difficult to see exact placement on certain pieces that were dark in color. Overall acute build, but it was not as enjoyable as some of my much larger builds. I’m not a big fan of the paper bags since it’s harder to see if something is left in there. This set did not include the standard Lego tool.
I would recommend this to a friend!
