After many years as an otter box user and fan this years offering was very disappointing. The fit of the case was not adequate. The edges of the top of the new orange phone showed and constantly shifted and moved in the case. As stated earlier Otterbox was always my go to case for every phone. Sadly, I have returned the case and am trying another. On the positive, my wife is still using her Otters for both iPad and iPhone and I have been using my iPad Otterbox for 5 years. Return to the quality of the past and I will likely return.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent quality. I've been using this case for over a month with NO issues. I've had the defender case on my last two Iphones and was happy with those also. I read the reviews before purchasing this case for the pro 17 and couldn't believe some of the issues people posted so I decided to give it a try and have NO regrets. Fits exactly the way it should. Lasts for years and worth the money. I've dropped my phone on hiking trails and the case saved my phone from any damages.

Nice look, but not perfectly fit around phone

The case looks nice, seems sturdy, but after 1.5 months the case is noticeably too big for the phone. The button areas squeak without pressing down on the button because there is this tiny bit of extra room on either side, making it seem flimsy

First case was a disaster.Camera button on my iPhone 17 Pro was so sensitive I couldn’t hold the phone without activating the camera. However, Otterbox contacted me and let me know they had identified a design flaw in the initial run of cases. They sent me out a replacement case plus a charging device for my inconvenience at no cost. That service is hard to beat.
The case is very robust, fits perfectly, and now it functions perfectly. I’ve had a number of defender cases on different phones and they have never let me down. I’ve never damaged a phone in their cases.

I’ve owned an otter box on all my iPhone and they work great! This one sucks it barley clips and locks in place. It’s falling out of the clip. The case itself is solid. Clip sucks and has too much wasted space should sit flush.
