Really not impressed with the case. At first, there was a problem with the new camera button sensitivity, which thankfully they fixed and provided a new case for. Fought things were going to be OK but after only a short period of time, the exterior cover has become loose and holding onto the phone no longer seems secure. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The otter box itself is great but the holster broke within two weeks of use. The two very small plastic nubs that seat into an indentation of the otter box to hold the phone in the holster broke. Now the phone will not stay in the holster.

I have used Otterbox Defender cases on every iPhone I’ve ever had, probably at least 6. I’ve always loved the superior coverage and the feel of a substantial case to not only protect my iPhone but to also have a phone that was easily gripped and handled. I find that a lot of what I liked about the Defender case has been sacrificed in this iPhone 17 pro Defender. I also use the belt clip holster and find it to be adequate and as good as all the other ones I’ve used.
Slimming down the Defender case isn’t what this Otterbox customer is wanting.
