Absolutely fantastic case from a fantastic company! I have used Otterbox cases for years they have saved my phones countless times. Drops, bangs you name it. This case is my second of the type I was a very very early adopter of the new phone and case, there was a minor issue with it initially. I never even had a chance to contact Otterbox before they contacted me said they knew it and sent me a perfect replacement! I will not be using any other brand of case. As to this defender case very solid, and grippy which is important to me and has held up well in the time I have had it. It adapts well to the new buttons on the iPhone 17, which had to be a challenge for the designers. No regrets highly recommend, if your active and outdoors a lot this is the option.

In the beginning, I didn’t like the camera button that I got an email saying that they were going to warrant it and give me a new one for free with a charger no complaints whatsoever

First case was a disaster.Camera button on my iPhone 17 Pro was so sensitive I couldn’t hold the phone without activating the camera. However, Otterbox contacted me and let me know they had identified a design flaw in the initial run of cases. They sent me out a replacement case plus a charging device for my inconvenience at no cost. That service is hard to beat.
The case is very robust, fits perfectly, and now it functions perfectly. I’ve had a number of defender cases on different phones and they have never let me down. I’ve never damaged a phone in their cases.
