Perfect Little Add-on for Your LEGO City!

Honestly, this LEGO City Yellow Taxi (60487) is an all-around great little set. As both an adult collector and a dad who builds a lot with his kids, I think this one hits the absolute sweet spot. It is a super quick, stress-free build that you can knock out together in about 10 or 15 minutes, making it perfect for younger kids who might lose patience with bigger sets. The absolute best part for parents? Zero stickers! Every single detail, from the dashboard map to the taxi logos, is printed right on the bricks, so you don't have to worry about crooked stickers or peeling.
LEGO really nailed the design on this one by trading the old-school boxy look for a sleek, modern electric vehicle style. The bright yellow colorway pops beautifully on a display shelf or a play rug, and it has a great sporty shape. There is even a tiny EV motor under the lifting hood and a fun little The LEGO Movie "Welcome to Bricksburg" Easter egg printed on the roof slope that old-school fans will appreciate.
For actual playtime, it's incredibly functional and durable. The roof pops off easily so kids can get their hands inside the detailed "leather" interior. It easily fits both included minifigures at the same time—the driver in his fun Hawaiian shirt and the tourist passenger. Plus, the trunk actually opens up to store her suitcase and printed LEGO laptop. It rolls super smoothly across the floor and stands up to rough play, making it a fantastic, high-value addition to any LEGO town. For the price, you really can’t beat it!

A Must Buy for A Lego City!!

Starting a Lego City and this taxi is a perfect fit! I got two of them but I think I’m going to pick up a third one. Easy to put together. Two great minifigures! No stickers! Overall a great buy!

I originally bought this without looking too much into the features of this taxi, I just needed a simple taxi for my lego city. However, this taxi came with two features I didn't expect which is a trunk and an openable hood. The size of the taxi is very compact but spacious for the minifigures. I'm honestly really happy with my purchase of this taxi and I think the thought and effort put into the design makes it well worth the price.
