Disappointing that Lego continues to market this set when the motor and battery have been out of stock for months. I bought this with the intention of having it run through our Christmas village this year and I’m very disappointed that it will be sitting static for who knows how long until you get these parts available again. Extremely poor planning on Lego’s part to release a set, advertise the motorization and then have it be unattainable. You’re better than this Lego. Do better.

I built this set as I thought it would be a nice display for the holidays. I think it came out very nice and it was fun to build, but I also had no expectations about motorizing it. So, unlike some other folks, I was not let down.

Just reviewing since everyone is complaining about the powered up. It's definitely not perfect, but does work with a little tweaking. The train does spin wheels a bit to start no matter what you do - but the biggest problem we experienced was actually due to the polar bear. When you attach the arms, don't push them all the way in or else you might cause to much friction. Once we gave a little more space between the arms and body, it works fairly reliably - but it is definitely rough. Set was fun regardless and glad I already had the powered up parts to experiment with.
