Purchased to build for my wife. She loves flowers and birds as do I. She thought they were neat and something to help brighten up the house.

I absolutely love these sunflowers! I was so afraid I was never going to get a set because they sold out so fast. It’s my favorite flower and this set did not disappoint. I’ll admit the green wheel that the petals snap too, tested my OCD. I wanted them perfectly aligned but it’s not really possible with the design of the wheel which leaves a small gap between the petals. Once I came to terms with that, I let it go…like Elsa :) It’s really not that big of a deal and they still look amazing and I absolutely love how they look. Having all of the flower LEGO sets, the only thing I would change is the length of the stem. Sunflowers are tall and they absolutely needed at least 3-4 more green stem pieces. It makes no sense that the sunflower stems are the same height as the tulips. Aside from the stem, they are perfect!

These LEGO sunflowers are so beautiful! They bring a smile to my face first thing every morning when I see them on my nightstand! Sunflowers are my most favorite flower and the best thing about the LEGO ones is that they’ll last forever, no watering or trimming required ;)

Sweet, but Temperamental

These sunflowers look incredible! My girlfriend was really happy with them. The downsides to this set are that some of the petals (4 on each flower for 8 total) are not attached well. They fall off at the slightest touch, with is due to their (unavoidable) placement on the supports of piece 67811. The claw has to get stretched to fit along the support section, weakening piece 48729b on all 8 petals. If you can attach them delicately and prevent them from touching anything after assembly, you're golden (pun intended). The second downside is that the stems are not as long as the stems in set #10280, but this is minor. This set is great, and I am very glad that I bought it!

So disappointed in this set! The petals fall off of the flower........sad......don't waste your money. Too bad...it was a cute idea just not thought out well.....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
