Had to make adjustments

So these flowers on their own are super cute. Build is a little repetitive, but that's to be expected with all the petals. The reason I only gave 3 stars is because I purchased this to add into my classic Lego bouquet, and was annoyed to see the stems on these were almost half the length of all the stems on the bouquet. I had to get extra pieces to double the stem lengths, otherwise they just slipped down into my vase and got buried by the rest of the bouquet. It would make so much more sense if all the individual flowers and flower bouquets were the same length for compatibility. But once I lengthened the stems, I was very happy with the way my new addition looked in my bouquet. :)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pretty in theory but..

I love sunflowers and was really excited to build these. Everything about the build was fine until I finished putting the petals onto the base and they immediately began falling off and they do not stay on either or if one does, another falls off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pieces not working

Hi, I like a few other customers have infomed in other reviews, am experiencing issues with part #6278159. This piece is supposed to clamp on to the wheel and hold the petals in place. I have issues with older sets after many years, these clamps losing their shape and stretching. However, I noticed loose fits upon initial construction, and within a few days, 3 or 4 petals had fallen off and will not reclamp. I don't know if this is a result of new material in the parts/pieces, but I have noticed in several new sets that pieces seem lighter in wieght and feel cheaper than older sets. I am an avid buyer/collector and I am hoping this is not an ongoing issue. I would hate for LEGO to cheapen materials for cost, while set prices seem to be increasing slightly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
