I wish there were better deals on buying the software as a repeat customer. But I am using this for myself and my kids so it was worth buying a version with multiple filings and self employment info.

H&R Block Premium Tax Software just works. I don't feel that they use "bait & switch" tactics with e-file or Audit Support options, which is a huge positive factor to me. I give them an A+.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Best tax software by far!

Should have been using H&R Block all along. it installed and ran fine on Windows 10, had no errors or issues. Was fast and no errors at any point. Easy import , so recommend everyone move over to this one.

I've been using this for years with little or no problems and it is easy to use. My only problem is that if there is a problem and the return is rejected, I have to use ani=other of my free filing to correct it.

Lot of prior year information imported but could do more. Work tables poorly referenced and no information imported that should be. But overall gets the job done.

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

the app was ok as far as ux was concerned. very similar to turbotax, but not very polished. also, there were some tax needs which said ( essentially ) "you need to work with a tax advisor on this". i never had that with turbotax. i tried it because it was cheaper than turbotax, but i didn't feel as confident in the software, so was it worth the trade off?
