I like his software but wish it could cover more of the details in K-1 forms.

I used your windows version for years. It's good. I changed to Mac Version this year, and there is bug. I manually put in 2 entries. After saving it, the 2nd entry title and partial data overwritten the 1st one. And my tax number changed.

I, unfortunately, need to file about a dozen state tax returns in addition to my federal. After paying extra for the Montana software I discovered it doesn’t support out of state “disregarded entities” and I needed to do it by hand anyway. Apparently, there is no way to get a refund on that state software. Other than that I had no problems.

I felt this was a lit harder to navigate than turbo tax, you also checked a box for social security because I am 62+ and that came up in the error section but you wouldn't let me unchecked it, another thing came up in the final review that I didnt understand and couldn't fix i just hope everything was correct

I have used H & R Block software for many years now. The last few years the section where the info for Stock Options is collected is not correct. The tax withholding was completed, and the software makes me put it in as the taxes are still due. So, it double dips, and that is incorrect. I called for guidance, and now I know that I need to manipulate the data to make it correct. But, I think this should be looked at.

The 2025 Premium software is much improved over the 2024. The program is faster, less "buggy," more user friendly (think able to move from topic to topic, or have multiple Tools open at the same time), and the Interview questions are more clear than last year. Also, the Itemized Lists work & print as they're supposed to.
All is not perfect though - small bugs still exist, but this edition is much closer to what this user expects.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The verifications at the end are a bit difficult to follow. I had an issue with the deposit of one of my refunds, saying it wasn't adding up correctly between two accounts. I hadn't added a second account, but somehow, there was a problem. I had to back all the way into the return and see that the refund amount had changed but did not refresh on the left sidebar. When you're trying to get the document filed, this is very annoying.
