Unfortunately, you can't use the iterative method?

I have been using HRBlock for over 15 years, this year I can't efile because of this message from the software “Unfortunately you won’t be able to efile your return. the calculation for the premium tax credit (form 89962, line 24) and the self employed insurance deduction form (schedule 1, line 17) use the iterative method. This method helps to balance the premium tax credit and the self employed health insurance deduction to ensure both are accurately reflected in the tax return”. My situation hasn't changed, I'm self employed and fill out each year HRBlock's sofware exactly the same. "Unfortunately, I won't be able to use HRBlock Next Year". that's my message to HRBlock.

I've been using H&R Block tax software for years. While it's still good I was disappointed this year in that it couldn't figure out how to apply my Self Employed Health Insurance deduction. When I got to the end to eFile it said I had to print it out on paper and mail it in, ugh and yuck
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
I would recommend this to a friend!

There is no need to fill out schedules or worksheets if they are totally unrelated to your return, below an income threshold. Just cause it’s total confusion, especially if you try Assigned to correct errors in them when there’s no data to put in them because Recommend they don’t even apply!! Freaking nightmare.

I have used this for several years. I have been very happy with it until this year. I had trouble finding items that I have used each year. Final verification requested several corrections that I fought for some time as I tried to make the corrections. The software was not taking the corrections. I finally prevailed!
