I have used this software for at least 20 years and up to 2024 I was very happy with it. However, over the past 2 years I have found certain aspects that are wanting. In particular, the Q & A for the self-employed insurance deduction and the QBI relating to carry loss carryforwards from K-1s are confusing and caused me to waste a lot of time doing research.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

It has worked for me through this year. Sadly it won't handle the forms I'll need for next year as a farmer. My one biggest complaint is that the writing is small on everything, and there's no mechinism in the program to magnify the writing, for those of us with older eyes.

Have been using tax cut for over 20 yrs. It has alwzys been and still is easy to use. The update for loss carryford calculation this year was very late coming through and held up my refund so 4 stars instead of 5
