Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

If you have QBI from multiple sources, don't buy
on April 7, 2026

DO NOT BUY if you have K-1's with QBI involved. This program forces you to download IRS forms and complete by hand. Apparently it "is beyond the scope of this program" yet turbo tax computes it just fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First time no five stars for HRBlock!! My return was delayed due to a math error. Not sure how it happened I did not go back to see exactly how and why. But IRS said math error occurred and they fixed it

There are glitches for people over 62, and who have retirement or K-1. For SSA worksheet requirement (when there is no SSA), and inherited IRA's. Also, for over 73 and there are no excess contributions - and I could not find the button to turn it off - had to go to Turbo Tax.

While this product eventually handled my return I had to wait very deep into the season (April 3rd) to file my taxes electronically because you had not finished a form and no one could tell me when it would be available. In addition, I had a foreign tax credit that was not being posted to my return. I only found it out when an update late in March fixed this. Had I filed my taxes when they were done they would have been incorrect.

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
