Overall good but the help topics don’t always answer questions. In the past, there was a help line which seems to have disappeared. I’ve been a loyal customer for probably 20 years now. I should get some extra help when needed.

The no tax on overtime section of the OBBBA does not require the taxpayer to itemize deductions in order to qualify. I don’t itemize, so the interview question never came up in the download version of the premium plus edition of your software. I learned about the law after filing, so I had to file an amended 1040. I had to select itemized deductions filll in schedule 1A and then switch back to standard deduction for the software to work. Very disappointed

I bought the premium app for Win 11. Your AI help is a joke. It is only a data base search. I would say, "What form do I use to enter xxx?" It would reply, " I don't understand, you can ask questions like ...."

No imagination! Poor functionality!

The software would not accept large numbers as proceeds and costs of stock transactions. You have to overwrite it. It would not accept "various" as dates on form 8949, because you can only enter numbers/dates there. So, you have to print the return, get the 8949 separately and replace it. Apparently, the guys who implemented these formats and limits do not have enough imagination. The software would not import 1099-B from TradeStation, and I am not going to enter 99 pages of transactions manually! While IRS allows including 1099-B or substitute statement, try attaching it for e-filing; good luck! I was not able to accomplish this. By the way, I have contacted them and they would not make the changes to the software. I can bet, even if they read this review, they will not make the corrections next year.
