Leaving the program flow (a go to) for long term capital gains is clunky. As a programmer I was always advised to avoid go tos.

We have used H&R Block Premium software for many years, and have always been pleased with how it is user friendly.
I was terribly disappointed in the AI helper, though (the reason I’m not giving the product 5 stars this year). Very generic and no help whatsoever.

I have been a customer since the turn of the millennium. Back then it was Taxcut. I always went back to this software. Although this year I had several issue that were disappointing. The initial download was difficult. I ended up downloading all 5 or seven downloads before I knew it was on my computer. Called in for help and was able to get one of the downloads working. The individual assisting was marginally technical and able to help. Also the comments and help sections were not as clear as the past.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I can't even remember how many years I've use HR Block for my taxes. All I know is I don't have to concern myself filing my returns. They seem to have everything necessary for filing and I know how their system works..
