I’m satisfied with this tax program and have been using it for 30 years. I’m a retired physician and have ever evolving income sources and this makes it easy to do taxes without having to pay extra. It is accurate and fairly straightforward to input data. Tax laws are overwhelmingly complex but this program provides a good way to deal with it. I’ve been audited several times by the IRS and have always been confident in the integrity of the HR Block program.

1. State filing should not cost extra. Other tax software providers don't charge, fix this.
2. Updates affect the filing even after submitting - need earlier software updates - should not get them in April.

Takes some patience

It is a little frustrating to use this program as someone who has some experience preparing returns. One of the biggest weaknesses is in the area of Federal tax estimates--1. I can't find a way to just get estimates prepared based upon the prior year (it wants a lot of info to be entered). So i thought, just prepare blank estimates and fill in everything else-no can do. 2. I'd like to see more of the form that I am entering info into, rather that One screen per piece of info.

Cons: Time consuming

Good program, used it for many years. For some reason entering K1’s were not straight forward to me. Seems like the K1 lines and yours were not entirely the same. Program gets a bit better every year.
