I bought the software that includes the 1 free state, but whe I started using it I had to pay for the 1 state. Also, after several decades of Linux, I'm still forced to use Windows or Mac only with constant OS upgrade costs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well both my federal and state income taxes are complete and submitted. There was a lot of time involved in finishing and checking everything but the software was very thorough and I believe it is correct,
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

I thought the program was ok but not outstanding. Finding where to put a 6 digit pin number was somewhat hard to find and should have been easy.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Found bugs and reported them ... they did not take me seriously even though I am a software engineer and they also refused to compensate me in some way for the troubles I experienced.
Problems include: 1. Import failure from last year's return.
2. Rental home from 2 homes get co-mingled when any changes are made.
