The depreciation schedules do not carry over; it defaults to 200% declining balance and forces the user to look up what was selected previous year. Very painful when different properties will have different schedules depending upon the asset. You could easily fix this. Previous versions included state prep, had to pay extra for it. Why?
Cons: Time consuming

Horrible Software

This tax program is terrible to use. It never did fill out 1040 line 4a correctly. Also the user interface is not the least bit user friendly. Navigation is cumbersome. Help is not context sensitive, it is useless. I spent hours of my time debugging this poorly written code, I used AI to help me. Oh yeh, your built in AI was garbage too. Overall it was a terrible experience wasting hours of my time.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had some issues with fields not populating and other requirements to populate a field when not required. Incorrect data on a form was not able to be corrected in the interview and put the ability to eFile at risk. Used MacOS version. Will use TurboTax next year

This was H&R Block‘s worst year ever for tax software. As of April 1 there are still forms missing in the software, meaning that returns cannot be filed

Software worked well for rental, retirement, and social security income reporting. Software didn't do well with the death of a spouse. Actually pretty bad at handling the death of a spouse.
