The tax program did not warn the preparer that the IRS will not send refund checks, even though there was an executive order to reduce that paperwork during 2025.
The tax program had a bug with the "Foreign Interest Paid" software, which caused my return to be rejected by the IRS. My Tax Return was not automatically submitted as I was led to believe.
These are mind boggling errors that should not have occurred with proper testing.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Enrolled in the automatic program. Email came in, accessed and downloaded program, installed flawlessly, entered code, imported last years info and I was all set. When federal done, took me to download my state program, same thing....installed and was up and running. Audit check ran for both fed and state and came back I was good to go. Filing took seconds and I got confirmation emails. Hate doing taxes, but this program makes it a lot less painful.
Pros: Easy to prepare
