I have been using this package (premium) for about 15 years now. The last couple years it has become increasingly difficult to use. This year I was unable to get it loaded on my windows 10 machine that I always use. With a great deal of help from a young lady at your help line (after an extended conversation with a worthless AI assistant) I was able to get the software working and finished my project in about 24 hours.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your product was average at best. I could not get your software to upload my account information from Merrill Lynch and T Rowe Price. I had to enter it manually. You have a ways to go to measure up to Turbo Tax.

I've used this software for many years. Unfortunately, it is not getting better. In fact, it's becoming harder to use. This is not because taxes in general are more difficult to understand. Instead, it appears that whoever is setting up the prompts in the program software is not testing them on actual users. In my own case, I've prepared several returns this year. And in doing so I've come across several instances where the questions/prompts could be answered either way, and each would be correct! This is horribly confusing, and requires referring to the IRS regulations to understand what exactly is needed. That's not helpful, and simply makes the whole experience more difficult. I think I'll try TurboTax next time.

Used it for years - loved it. However, went back to look at the status which read NOT FILED. I checked IRS and they had cashed my check over 20 days ago. I retransmitted it to the IRS and was told they already it. Once filed I took updates to check the status. If this is the problem, you need to warn users DON'T TAKE UPDATES AFTER YOU'VE FILED.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

The AI assistant was not very useful. Questions were unanswered or not able to be answered that I think should have been. Maybe I needed a subscription or to opt into some service but I think in today's AI centric world that basic questions related to the content within your product should be available.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

It worked as usual, although support for dual citizens is marginal, like dual recipient of social security.
