The program guides the user through each step by methodically and thoroughly asking a series of understandable questions designed to ensure all necessary and proper data is entered on all aspects of your tax situation. Easy to move back and forth and view/change info and see worksheets and forms

Good,but please add more details for Schedule C!

Highly suggesting more FAQs on the left hand side bar for many sections of the Schedule C for self employed. This year, I had to look up numerous publications on the IRS website, because there were not enough details included on the tax software. I've filed a Schedule C for yearswoth HRBlock software, but this year required much more research outside of the software.
Cons: Time consuming

H&R Block as a tax calculator is fine. I think the format mostly works well, with one major exception. It is difficult, and at least unintuitive, to trace back numbers that are filled out back to particular questions. Adding that feature or making it more user friendly would be very helpful.
As a software, it was very difficult to download and install. I needed to call for help for each of the federal and state downloads so that I could use executable files as opposed to the auto update that happens within the software.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I trust that it is asking me the right questions but I’ve seen that it occasionally skips over some topics or shouldn’t. Also, needs to provide more in depth explanations for how it treated some inputs. Still requires that you “keep your hands on the wheel “ to confirm the results are reasonably accurate,

I have been using your program for years, but this year the AI aspect was horrible. Once I decided that I would like to pay extra to have a tax pro look over my return, figuring out how to make that happen was horrible.

It was easier to switch to forms than TurboTax.
It caught a mistake where I put a value in the wrong place on a form.
Importing fianancial data saved me a lot of time.
I like how my bank information was entered in twice to insure accuracy.
