The federal software worked great as usual but for the second year in a row the Arizona software had a glitch in the credits allowed. I was on the chat sight with agents 3 times to explain the proble but finally on the 3/20/26 update the problem was fixed.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using HRBlock premium and business tax software since the first year that it was offered....It's user super user-friendly AND the online support team is great !
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

How to input refund banking info

Nice product but your site does not tell or answer a query about how to apply a refund bank ABA and account number. I had to go to Chatgpt to ask and it said it is in your query of how to get a refund but we can't find that and your site does not respond to the question.

Capable Software but Nightmare at E-Filing Time

Advantage: Can still be used on Windows 10 while Turbo Tax is NOT
Summary: Much more Clunky and less User Friendly than Turbo Tax but capable software.
Disadvantage: Software becomes a Nightmare at Electronic Filing Time requiring it's identified issues to resolve (even if they really don't exist) and forbidding Overrides if you want to E-File. Also demands Federal & State software update prior to E-File which can be circular nightmare to fight through with computer reboots

I have been using HR Block software for many years. It does the job and I trust the results. That said, it sometimes asks questions without providing enough info to know if I am responding correctly. Also, the user interface has not changed in many years and is quite dated.
Pros: Easy to import documents

Don't be fooled by standard or itemized deduction.

I was disappointed in the fact that the program changed from previous years in the interview process. In the past, the program would ask for Standard Deduction or Itemized deduction, and let you fill out itemized deductions, then itself would recommend and choose the better after the interview. It did not recommend or give me a choice after the interview. This caused me to file using much smaller standard deduction, and then having to do an amended return afterwards to fix that mistake.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
