H&R Block software is wonderful. However the software had a very difficult time working with my Mac (Monterey Version 12.7.6). I was on the phone with IT support for over an hour, only to realize that my purchase State software wasn't mounting because I did not have a customer account set up with Block. I thought I did. I paid three times for e-filing that finally worked after I restarted my computer. I am planning to talk with Block accounting tomorrow about the multiple State billings. This is unfortunate, because after years with TurboTax, I find Block's software to be superior.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
I would recommend this to a friend!

Be careful Ohio filers with large medical expenses

If you live in Ohio and have high medical expenses that may give you a deduction on your state return, this software will not do it correctly. It will not transfer the data you entered when going through the federal return correctly for the state return. It has been like this for years. You will have carefully read the Ohio questions and enter the costs on the correct lines. So it will NOT give you the maximum refund you are entitled to unless you do this.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Switched cause it runs on Windows 10, Not TurboTax

When bought last december, formatting of pages all off. I am used to TurboTax, I changed to your software because you still work on Windows 10. If you change so I need to have Windows 11, will go back to TurboTax. You need lots of work.
