I've been using this software and it's predecessors for about 30 years or so. It's always easy to use and logical. I had a somewhat complex home sale and it was good but lacked some guidance that would have helped.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Problem with form 1116, line 18, foreign tax cred.

I have used this software several years and found it easy to use. However, I think there is flaw in the 2025 application to form 1116, line 18. The program does NOT make the subtraction of line 14 of Form 1040-SR

Long time user of competitive product, switched this year and I am so far pleased. Its not quite as thorough as the former product, but I only found one error in the premier version (NYS issue). Also, not enough detail in explanations, how do I know how to answer some of these questions when i don't understand the question?

I purchased the software and started doing my taxes and then found out that it could not download the information from Merrill Edge. So I had to get the required info from the paper reports.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
