Great easy-to-use for both personal & business tax

I've been using H&R Block Tax Software for many years, for both my own and my partner's annual returns. The program has always been informative and easy to use. For the past 5 years I've used the Premium version, since I have had a personal business since I retired from my "day job". It has been just as useful in reporting my personal business results as part of my returns. It has also been useful in being able to estimate future tax effects of prospective changes in my finances.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Product was good as usual, however, it allowed me to option for a check rather than direct deposit which cannot be done anymore. Created a little extra work on the IRS web site for me.

I've used TurboTax for many years, but decided to try Block because I didn't like that TurboTax would no longer work with Windows 10. The experience was similar, and my return was completed with only one little glitch. When my federal return information transferred to the state, there was a hangup because of a period in my address (as in Ave.) instead of (Ave). That held things up until I could figure out what the matter was and change my address in the federal form and re-import it into the state. After that, no problems.

I have been using this product for many years and it gets a little better every year. Even though I prefer to use the forms input method, the interview forms are easy to follow and sometimes help resolve errors that have to be corrected before e-filing.
