I like most features of H&R Block software. But i suggest 2 improvements. First, it would be nice show the prior year amounts in each relative field that applies to the return being prepared. Second, make it easier to find the NET amount of a refund after filing the return (net of HRB and bank fees).
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

The preparation and accuracy process including downloading of financial data from Fidelity and calculate all the data was 5-star! The instructions to copy and print the completed form was the worst I have ever encountered! 1 Star! The Internet is alive with similar comments by other users. Good grief, it should take three key strokes to print or copy the IRS Form to PDF not hours. My Printer a Canon TS720a.

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I find the program difficult to navigate. I spend more time looking for input screens. I think direct input to the tax forms would be helpful. The fact I only use the program once a year does not help.

Every time I open the application I get a warning on screen resolution and if I don’t select my answer it does not start up. While working on the tax entry I got lots of freezing and forced shutdown.

There is no way to ask tax questions. Even simple ones. The bot response system is built to answer only the most basic questions like, where do I start, how do i install the program, etc. Trying to ask a question about COGs is a waste of time. The software is stupid and worthless and no human is available to help. No humans available EVER/ANYWHERE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
