I’ve been using H&R Block Premium Software for about two decades.
In the beginning I found it to be relatively straightforward to use. Each successive year became easier and quicker as I became more familiar with the logic of the order of the interviews.I found using the “Take me to” button to maneuver around anywhere was a real asset if I wanted to double check something I had done.

I have been using this program for many years and have been happy with it. This year, there was a month delay due to forms / worksheets (Vehicle milage-cost worksheet) not being approved yet by the IRS. This was resolved February 26.

While I appreciate the price as compared to Turbo Tax, I have been using this for many years and I aways have a problem with its user friendliness. I have a fair amount of bookkeeping and accounting experience that I’m forced to rely on in order to escape the many error messages that always appear after careful completion of your tax returns. Its both frustrating and worrisome that after spending so much time in completing it, it may be wrong and I don’t understand how to fix it.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
