I've been using H&R Block software for several years, and I'm generally satisfied with it. But I think every year I wind up with a question or two the software doesn't answer. This year I had to file in two states plus federal. The federal was pretty straight forward, but both state returns have left me wondering if I got them right. The biggest issue is that when printing the states for paper filing, the software doesn't print everything that needs to be sent. I'm left trying to research on line what federal and or other state returns need to be filed in each state.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I get H&R software every year for last 10 years. This year was disappointing. Several crashed with the error checking. Would not let me file at first cause a double charge on credit card with filling. I was very disappointed this year. Might need to look for another software next year.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
