2025 TaxCut has some issues

I was disappointed in the 2025 TaxCut. First, I did not receive email updates about filing status UNTIL six days after I'd submitted my Federal return. Then I got an email that my return had been submitted and had been REJECTED. But it had been accepted six days earlier. Second, there should be a warning about checking IDs created each year by the IRS before submitting the Federal return.

It was so easy to follow the instructions

I have used H&R Block software for many years and have not had any problem filing my tax return and that of my children.
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointed - user interface, capabilities

Imported a pdf to get my information in. The program did not recognize capital loss carryforwards from 2024 and it did not provide any worksheets showing short term capital loss carryforwards for 2025 going into 2026.
I have an issue with a K1, the box 13 A is blocking me from filing - it is legit - was created in HR block business software - but throwing an error, saying I can't e-file if I keep this in here - it is a cash donation - I have to think this is a common circumstance. Compared to Turbotax or Free Tax USA that I used for my college aged kids, this is very clunky, hard to navigate, has a poor user interface.... I will not use it next year.

Love the program!

Love the program! Have used it for the last several years and have had no problems with it!! I didn"t give it 5 stars this year because of all the printing options. They are very confusing for someone who liked the very nice printing options from years past.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will be Switching to TurboTax Premium

Love your program and have been a loyal H&R Block Premium customer for nearly two decades, but this will likely be the last year I use your product. Why? My computer is a Mac Book Pro. I have dedicated a portion of my HD to run Windows and that's how I've used your product all of these years. Mac OS typically updates for free. Every time you folk update your program to work with the newest version of MS Windows, I must purchase the newest version of Windows, which is inferior to Mac OS. Anyway, the hidden cost makes the annual purchase of Tax Cut exceedingly more expensive. So this year, to save on the Windows cost, for the F1041, I need to file, I'll be switching to Turbo Tax; and moving forward, I'll use their Premium program. Always assumed you'd eventually make a version for Mac OS, but you never did; so I'm leaving.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

very confusing service

it has been impossible for us to fix the issue as to why out taxes were rejected by the IRS. we have have been trying to fix it for hours. turbo tax was so much easier. will never use this again

Need serious update to the software UI & performce

The software hang very often. works only in 1024*768 resolution. even then, managing screens is very difficult. It is like living in early 2000.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

1099'S STILL DON'T PULL OID COL 6 AND 11 CORRECTLY INTO THE 1040. THUS, I STILL HAVE TO CALCULATE AND ENTER THE NET INTO THE 1099-INT INPUT PAGE.
