Your software created errors in matching the correct copy numbers on the depreciation section of my properties. I had to spend a lot of extra time to get it to match them correctly. Also, the help guides need more information.

H&R BLOCK is the B E S T tax software!

I have used H&R Block software for many years. The software and questions pop-up's made completing your returns complex tax situations...AND on-line help is available. I am a Big 8 CPA with most of my career engaged with world-class, global manufacturing companies: Finance & Accounting, M&A, Tax, Compliance. Never been audited in over 40 years! Spread the Word about H&R Block Tax Software. What a GREAT VALUE AND SOLID COMPANY. One criticism: I am in a couple of Energy Company Limited Partnerships and those K-1 Forms are 12 pages of financial and instructions. HRB software walks you through 90%, but a few time it advises you to refer to the K-1 for Special Instructions in completing this section or line item. OK grant HR Block a 98.5% APPROVAL RATING.
Pros: Fast

I've been using HR block for over 10 years and I'm very satisfied with the software the only comment I have is that it does not have a provision for the term EXEMPT on my 1099r form from the NYS Retirement System, my pension is Exempt from NYS income tax and the term EXEMPT is noted in the box for state income tax withheld
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Does not handle transferred loss limits correctly

The program does not allow for a different basis, for loss limits, to be used on the Kentucky return. It was not caught until after being filed, now I have to file an amended return. Manually as I no longer trust this program.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
