What Happened????

From 2015 to to 2018, the best Tax software I have ever used, now this is terrible.
1st issue was opening the program (on a Mac 10.14+) you will get an error about permissions for the directory (it installs in the Shared user folder). the software is too stupid to create a folder and ask for elevated permission. The 'Help" suggested deleting the app and reinstalling it which does nothing to solve a permission issue. The fix is to create a new folder as a local admin in the Users\Shared\H&R Block\ directory called "2019".
Importing data was flawless in all previous years. This year, it prompts over and over for corrections on last years tax return. Why? How does it not know what my deductions were last year when it has access to that tax return?
This is really difficult program to use now - it's labor intensive and agonizing. Since my taxes are relatively simple, I would have been better off grabbing a 1040 from the post office rather than using this pile of offal.

I did not like the layout of the Federal and PA Tax returns at all as it was very confusing to me. I switched from Turbo Tax and it was a big mistake. I would not recommend this Tax Software to anyone and to stay away from it.

The only snag I found was on the review section I was asked to select a type of noncash donation from a list of percentages but no instructions given. I finally found them but it was time-consuming. The default would have been correct but I didn't know that. Otherwise it was a breeze. Have used this program for a couple of decades plus now.
