The H&RBlock software is easy to use and follow. The instructions are clear, the prompts are easy to understand. I also used the chat capability which was answered within 2 minutes. That resource person was easy to work with and helped me understand and solve my dilemma. I'm glad that I bought and used this software package.

The state software is incomplete. After going through entering all my data about my state tax return and getting ready to mail my state tax return. The final checklist list tells me to include the following forms if necessary, Hawaii State Tax form N158, Federal Tax form 8283, Hawaii State Tax form CR, Hawaii State Tax form 342. Isn't that what the tax software is supposed to do.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Survey link unusable. Software asks for verification values from an itemized deduction return, but last year Block return did not itemize deductions.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
