I was a week late in down loading and was charged full price(discount wasn't given) if I hadn't used this the last few years I would stop using it. It seams to get more difficult to use every year. Some of the info pages are difficult to get out of.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I"ve used this program for a number of years and it has always worked great
Great software that is very easy to use. I have used this for several years and have yet to run into any problems. I use the federal + state and can typically get everything finished up in about 4 hours with most of the time being spent gathering my information.
I always have been using H&R for my taxes. I have never been audited, but I still have a reservation that I may have entered something that may have been erroneous to the extent that I may have paid too much tax. I have a TSP for example. One of the questions is "is this considered an IRA?" I think not, but I really don't know. I think some more clarification could be built into the software for things like this.
Nice. No problems. Straight forward.easy to follow, understand. Never had any problems. Buy it !
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

It fills out the extra schedules and worksheets needed, except.... I have a 1099R. I filled out the program where it asks for the 1099R and what is in the boxes. Box 2A was empty on mine, and that is how I filled out the program. The Fed 1040 instructions has a 'Simplified Methods Worksheet, Lines 4c and 4d', that needs to be filled out. The H&R Block software does not cover or explain this adequately. It does go through the steps and the last step it asks you if you have a number to add to box 2A, but no explanation and no help pops up on the screen. This could have been a "big" miss, if I had not questioned the programs results and dug into why it seemed out of normal for my returns.
