Easy to Complete!

I have been using the H&R Block Software Federal/State program for many years and have always been happy with the results. The fact that they collect info from your previous year to complete the forms saves a lot of research and inputting time. This is also true as you work on your state form and pertinent info from your Federal form is entered for you.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

This has to be an update from 2018 because the easy features and labeling are gone.
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I buy this every year to help get my return together and organized. However, I tend to forget important items that need to be input. So...I still take my return to the CPA who does my taxes every year. I did find some differences in use of the IRS rules and deductions that CPA’s know that find other items. These are the same information rules on the Delux version. But guess I am not smart enough to place those in right blocks. Seems to be a good and mostly accurate program if I can understand all the word verbiage to IRS on their form.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I purchased Federal with State. Used H&R BLOCK for years. Pulls previous year's info into the next year. Nice. all of my paperwork fell into place. Easy to efile after accuracy checked. Ready to use H&R BLOCK again next year.

For the past two years now after spending 5 to 6 hours on the computer I couldn’t e-file my returns and ended up having to print them and mail them.....a real bummer
